Dogs
Introduction
Dogs are known as man’s best friend and are one of the most popular pets. They have many care requirements but are among the most rewarding pets to own.
Care
Dogs need a diet that matches their stage of life and a water bowl. They need to be taken outside to go to the bathroom daily and taken for walks. They should also be brushed to remove loose hair and have their nails trimmed before they get too long. Bathing is good to do as well.
Personality
Dogs are confident, independent, and adaptable animals. They tend to be sociable and happy around their owners. They can be played with and enjoy being made a part of your life. They are also allowed in many public spaces although you will have to verify it’s okay to do so since some places forbid it.
Cost
The upfront costs for a dog are expensive. You will need food and water bowls, food, a leash, grooming supplies, and more. Vet visits are also expensive and none of this includes the actual price of the dog which can vary significantly depending on the breed. Annual food costs could be anywhere from five-hundred to a couple thousand dollars depending on what you buy.
